You may order any clock not already marked RESERVED to be restored for you. You are invited to discuss details of any clocks listed here and to examine an unrestored clock should you so wish. Should you order a clock to be restored for you this list will be marked RESERVED against the clock(s) of your choice which should be made ready within a few weeks. No payment is required prior to restoration commencing.

British Railways (Eastern) Region 10” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 12949 ex-Sheffield Victoria {District Police Inspectors} in mahogany case; c.1950. Dial written “B.R. (E) 12949”.

British Railways (Eastern) Region 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 13749 ex-Chingford {Motive Power Depot Messroom} in mahogany case; c.1956. Dial written “B.R.(E) 13749”.

British Railways (North Eastern) Region) 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 12928 ex-Hull Estate Surveyor {Docks & Inland Waterways Executive – Humber Ports} in mahogany case; c.1949. Dial written “B.R.(N.E.) 12928”.

British Railways (Southern) Region 8” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 11478 ex-St. Leonards West Marina {Motive Power Staff Accomodation then Superintendent’s Room (Diesel) Motive Power} in oak case; taken into service 22nd February 1957. Dial written “B.R. 11478” with red 24-hour indicators.

Great Eastern Railway/L.& N.E.R. 8” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 2096 ex-Whitemoor {Goods Office} in oak case; c.1900. (L.&N.E.R. ivorine number place attached to inside of side door). Dial written “B.R.(E) 2096 with red 24-hour number indicators.

Great Western Railway 3½” dial “pork-pie” clock  No. 0.84 ex-Paddington{Traffic Dept.} in oak case; c.1925.  Dial written “ G.W.R. 0.84”.

Great Western Railway 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 940 (G.W.R. ivorine number plate affixed to case) in mahogany case; c.1860. Dial written “B.R. – W.”

London & North Western Railway/L.M. & S.R. 8” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 1848 (L.& N.W.R. enamel number plate affixed to case) ex-Euston then Rochdale then Watford in mahogany case; 1880. Renumbered by L.M.& S.R. 17955 (L.M.& S.R. brass number plate affixed to case). Dial written “B.R. (L.M.) John Walker 1 South Molton Street London 17955”. Copy of L.M. & S.R. Clock History Card available with this clock.

Midland Railway/L.M. & S.R. 12” drop-dial fuse clock No. 10692 (L.M. & S.R. brass number plate affixed to case) reputedly ex-Stapleford & Sandiacre in oak case; c.1900. Dial written “Winder Derby”.

Midland Railway/Southern Railway 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 14293 (L.M. & S.R. brass number plate affixed to case) ex-Walworth Road {Coal Depot} in oak case; c.1880. The Southern Railway Clock Register states this clock was taken over from the L.M.& S.R. and is therefore a considerable rarity – the dial being re-written by British Railways (Southern) Region retaining the L.M. & S.R. number thus: “B.R.(S) John Walker 1 South Molton Street London 14293” with 24-hour number indicators. Back of case stamped “14293”.

North British Railway/L.& N.E.R. 12” dial roundhead clock No. 16722 (L.& N.E.R. ivorine number plate affixed to case) ex-Dundee in mahogany case; c.1890. Movement marked “W & H Sch” indicating the clock was supplied by N.B.R. contractors Messrs. Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenach, Germany.

North Eastern Railway/L.& N.E.R. 8” dial drop-case fusee clock No. 1588 ex-York {Civil Engineer’s Chief Assistant’s Room} in oak case; c.1870. Dial written “B.R. 1588” with arabic numerals & red 24-hour number indicators.  RESERVED.

North Eastern Railway/L.& N.E.R. 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 2872 ex-Darlington {Locomotive Works Manager – Accounts Office} in mahogany case; c.1890. Dial written “B.R.(N.E.) 2872” over ghost inscription “N.E.R. 794”.

North Eastern Railway/L.& N.E.R. 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 2874 ex-Darlington {Locomotive Works Manager – Blacksmiths Shop} in mahogany case; c.1890. Dial written “B.R.(N.E.) 2874”.

North Eastern Railway/L.& N.E.R. 8” dial drop-case fusee clock No. 6005 ex-Spennymoor {Mineral Office} then Blyth {Motive Power Depot Time Office} in oak case; c.1870. Dial written “B.R.(N.E.) 6005”.

Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway/G.W.R. 12” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 3417 (G.W.R. ivorine number plate affixed to case) ex-Aberavon {Seaside} in mahogany case; c.1895. Dial written with G.W.R. roundel over ghost inscription “Down & Son Swansea”.

Southern Railway  14” dial roundhead fusee clock No. 10292 ex-Crystal Palace {Low Level Booking Hall} in oak case; taken into service 22.2.1938.   Dial written  “B.R.(S)   John Walker   1 South Molton Street   London   10292”.   10292 also stamped on bezel hinge and back of case.

Southern Railway  8″ dial roundhead fusee clock No. 10527 ex-Templecombe {Inspector’s Office} in oak case.   Dial written  “S. R.   10527″.
